On March 24, 2025, the Paramount Human Resource Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PHRMPC) celebrated National Women’s Month, resonating with empowerment and celebration. Under the theme “Celebrating HER: From History to Her Story, To Our Future,” the event, held at 1:00 PM, served as a platform to acknowledge the profound impact of women throughout history, their invaluable contributions in the present, and their crucial role in shaping the future.

The event, diligently organized by the cooperative, was graced by the dynamic hosting duo of Samantha Alabado, the L&D Team Leader, and Angelica Jones Alameda, the PHRMPC Nurse. Their collaborative effort ensured a seamless and engaging program that captivated the audience.

The afternoon was dedicated to a comprehensive discussion that spanned the breadth of women’s experiences. To set the atmosphere, attendees played a bingo game, where they needed to get to know each other to complete a pattern on their bingo cards. The exploration began with a deep dive into Women’s History, highlighting pivotal moments and trailblazing figures that paved the way for progress. This segment served as a powerful reminder of the struggles overcome and the triumphs achieved by women throughout generations.

Following this historical perspective, the focus shifted to the present contributions of women within PHRMPC and beyond. Attendees shared their own stories and opinions, highlighting the diverse roles and responsibilities women undertake in various professions and personal spheres. This segment fostered a sense of community and appreciation, acknowledging the daily contributions that often go unnoticed.

Ms. Angelica Jones Alameda, leveraging her expertise as a registered nurse, delivered an insightful presentation on key health issues affecting women.
