A job fair organized by Paramount HRMPC at Quezon City Hall last November 8, 2024, Monday, attracted a large crowd, with over 100 applicants competing for various  job opportunities. The event, aimed to connect job seekers with employers from diverse industries, it was a resounding success, providing a platform for both experienced professionals and fresh graduates to pursue new career paths.

The career fair featured a wide range of 73 open positions from several top local  companies, offering job positions in customer service,  retail, logistics, laborers, factory workers and administrative support where in applicants had the opportunity to meet with PHR Talent Acquisition Team, submit their resumes, and even participate in interviews for immediate hiring.

In addition, the host mentioned about the tips before going to a career fair that applicants should prepare both mentally and physically, presenting in professional attire and bringing multiple copies of resume. Research about the company mission to boost their confidence to effectively respond to the on-the-spot interviews with the recruiters.

For many attendees, the job fair was more than just a chance to apply for positions—it was an opportunity to network and gain a deeper understanding of the industries they were interested in. We also encountered two applicants who is deaf and mute, who are thankful to have joined in the Job Fair, Aldrin, 23 and John Henry 32 years of age, both applying for warehouse helper.

The event received positive feedback from job seekers.

“Masaya po ako dahil natuklasan ko itong Hiring ni Paramount”, said Rick James, from Palawan Province, job-seeker.

“May pinuntahan lang ako dito sa QC Hall, then nakita ko merong Job Hiring, may opportunity why not na i-try ko.”, “I’m thankful na may ganito sa QC Hall at makapagbigay sila ng maraming opportunity sa ibang mga naghahanap ng trabaho.” said Ah-Shala Abdulah, 32 years old, job-seeker.

As the event wrapped up, both recruiters and job seekers expressed optimism, and looking- forward for the applicants to join in future hiring opportunities and to help career advancements.

“We are bless na nakapaghatid tayo ng trabaho para sa bawat pilipino, from rank-and-file to managerial position, looking forward pa kami na mas makapaghatid pa ng magandang trabaho si Paramount hindi lang po dito sa Quezon City, kundi Nationwide.” Martha Flores, TA Supervisor of Talent Acquisition, Sourcing.
