On June 25, 2025, Paramount Human Resource Multi-Purpose Cooperative (PHRMPC) proudly crowned its Mx. Paramount Grand Queen in celebration and support of Pride Month. The event, hosted by Mr. Kirby Macaraya from the Learning and Development Department, took place at the 4th Floor of Hollywood Square, 33 West Avenue, Quezon City, and was simultaneously broadcast on the cooperative’s official YouTube channel.

Only five courageous candidates rose to the challenge—showcasing wit, elegance, and a strong sense of advocacy. Candidate No. 1, Carla; Candidate No. 2, Patty; Candidate No. 3, Mhel; Candidate No. 4, Kimchi; and Candidate No. 5, AC. Each contestant underwent a rigorous screening process to ensure they were fully prepared to own the spotlight and embody the true spirit of Mx. Paramount Grand Queen.

The event opened with a dynamic production number, where the candidates showcased their prepared performance and confidently strutted with style and fierceness—even in simple white shirt and jeans. Their powerful presence made a bold statement, captivating the audiences.

What followed was a spectacular tribute to origin, authenticity, and unapologetic self-expression. The fierce candidates transformed into almost mythical and cultural icons as they showcased their unique national costumes. Each presentation had its own visual highlight, captivating not only the audience but also leaving a strong impression on the panel of judges.

After gracing the stage with pride and heritage, the candidates continued to impress during the Talent Portion, each showcasing their individuality and flair. From captivating dance routines and dazzling light displays to powerful acting performances, each act was a testament to their creativity and confidence. These iconic performances left the audience in awe—proving that these queens didn’t just come to play, but to slay the stage.

A short break then followed, featuring a special guest performance by Mr. Jeff Puhol, who serenaded the audience as the candidates prepared for their final performance. In line with the Pride celebration, he delivered a heartfelt rendition of Ben&Ben’s Paninindigan Kita—a fitting anthem that beautifully echoed the event’s message of love, courage, and authenticity, further immersing the audience in the pageant’s empowering theme.

At long last, as the candidates graced the stage for their elegant evening gown walk, their personal advocacies played in the background—each one delivering a heartfelt and empowering message. These advocacies reflected the values they truly stand for, aligning with the cooperative’s vision of creating meaningful opportunities to uplift and empower the community.

The finale featured a thrilling test of wit and wisdom through the impromptu Question and Answer portion. The queens confidently faced the panel of judges, delivering thoughtful responses and standing firm in their convictions. This segment was followed by the tabulation of scores, building anticipation and keeping everyone at the edge of their seats

The long-awaited results were then finally revealed, and the crowned winners were announced. Candidate No. 4 earned the title of 1st Princess, followed by Candidate No. 2 as Mx. Paramount Luminary, and Candidate No. 5 as Mx. Paramount Imperial. With anticipation building, the final two candidates took center stage for the grand reveal. It was then announced that Candidate No. 3 earned the title of Mx. Paramount Supreme, while the coveted crown of Mx. Paramount Grand Queen was proudly awarded to Candidate No. 1. The moment was met with cheers and celebration, marking a triumphant end to a night filled with pride, purpose, and empowerment.

In the end, the true winners of this event are the members of the cooperative—especially those from the LGBTQIA+ community. Through Mx. Paramount, the cooperative aims to uplift every voice and provide a platform for advocacy, inclusion, and unity. Because Mx. Paramount is more than just a title—it is a voice, a vision, and a vessel for change.
