Receptionist

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in operating computer software, including reservation systems and point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Preferably with complete requirements and can start as soon as possible.


Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Efficiently manage the waitlist and seating assignments, optimizing table utilization.
  • Clearly communicate wait times and answer guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
  • Assist guests with special requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Answer phone calls and emails to take and modify reservations.
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate effectively with waitstaff regarding seating arrangements.
  • Maximize table occupancy while ensuring guests don’t have to wait beyond a reasonable time.
