Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in operating computer software, including reservation systems and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Preferably with complete requirements and can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Efficiently manage the waitlist and seating assignments, optimizing table utilization.
- Clearly communicate wait times and answer guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist guests with special requests and dietary restrictions.
- Answer phone calls and emails to take and modify reservations.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate effectively with waitstaff regarding seating arrangements.
- Maximize table occupancy while ensuring guests don’t have to wait beyond a reasonable time.
